H57 lounge chair / Richard Lampert, from EUR 1560
Designer Herbert Hirche, 1957
Chair that in 2010 marked the 100th anniversary of the 100th birth of Herbert Hirche, the company Richard Lampber taking a look at his house in Stuttgart, hoping to find some hidden treasures. Among all the magnificent antique furniture of the 1950s and 1960s, he found the prototype of a chair designed for the famous 1956 Interbau exhibition in Berlin. And voila! The H57, a design in the tradition of Saarinen and Eames, but largely an independent character. And completely comfortable!
